SA holidays is part of the LeeVee Investment and Properties company and was formed in 2004 by partners Brian Johnson and Lee Poole to invest capital in companies listed on both the Johannesburg and London stock exchanges and to produce and market various forms of local artwork
LeeVee Investments run a number of websites in South Africa and the UK with the purpose of marketing holiday accommodation. Our SA Holidays website has recently been transformed to concentrate on South Africa holiday accommodation only. The targeted markets for this website is mainly Europe and Southern Africa and most other countries to a lesser extent. With the acquisition of properties in the Blouberg suburb of Cape Town the partnership progressed to the formation of the South African registered company of LeeVee Investments and Properties.
The company now offers a self catering holiday accommodation service to tourist wishing to visit Cape Town and a property management service for owners in the Blouberg area wishing to let to the within the tourist industry.
Brian has managed a number of businesses both in the UK and in Cape Town.
Lee is an artist in her own right specializing in mosaic furniture design. She also paints and a number of her paintings decorate the walls of the properties used for holiday accommodation.
Familiarity with the tourist trade and the needs of holidaying clients are no stranger to Lee with her considerable experience of guest house management.
Both Brian and Lee are committed to managing the company to an extremely high standard with it's main focus being that of quality customer care and providing our customers with the opportunity for a memorable vacation in Cape Town.
Property Management by LeeVee Investments and Properties
LeeVee investments and Properties management service can supply a tailor made or complete management
package to property owners wishing to let within the tourist industry or alternatively to have a personal
holiday home cared for. Fees for the sevice vary according to the level of service required.
Taking good care of your property is as important to us as it is to both you and prospective holiday clientele.
At the lowest level of service we can simply be a keyholder for you. At the highest level we would take over
responsibility for every aspect including bookings and rental collection. Income is paid directly into
your account after service fees have been deducted. At all times you can be assured of the very highest quality care.
The service includes the option of your property being advertised on our own and other popular websites. Our most
prominent media advertising includes national newspapers and magazines in the UK where the majority of our
holiday clientele originate.
Key Holder service only
The keys to the property are held at the office of LeeVee Investments and Properties cc and
made available to guests or nominated tradesmen requiring entry to the property.
No keys will be handed to any person without a formal advance instruction from the property owner.
It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that the keys are returned at the end of the period of occupation.
This service is usually employed by owners of holiday properties used for personal use and letting to family
and friends.
Keyholder + services, arrival and inventory
Welcome visitors into/out of property in friendly manner. Carry out inventory check with visitor at arrival
and departure. Show visitor round property and inform of any house rules and instructions regarding equipment
care and operation.
Meet and Greet
Meet visitors at airport and transfer to property. Assist with any prior arrangement for car hire service at airport.
Laundry/linen/toiletries
Supply bed linen, towels, toilet items and soap. 1 set in use, 1 set stored in cupboards at property and one set at laundry.
Arrangements with visitors for change of linen and replace other toilet items 7 days after arrival date and subsequently
every 7 days thereafter during occupation. At the same time the property will be cleaned.
Cleaning
Properties are thoroughly cleaned every 7 days when occupied. Arrange with visitors to carry out cleaning and
interior check in advance. Windows and external items requiring cleaning are cleaned monthly or on changeover
days where convenient.
Garden
Normal garden services are employed twice every month to cut lawns and tidy lawn edges, however further garden
work can be carried out and owners should specify their requirements in advance and arrangements can be made for
the additional garden work to be carried out. Full garden service will ensure that the garden is well
kept at all times.
Due to watering restrictions extra work may be necessary to water gardens at the allotted times.
General Repairs
All property repairs are carried out only with the permission of the owner unless in an emergency where
LeeVee's usual repairers will be employed to make a temporary repair if possible or full repair if any danger
is thought to exist. Normal repairs will be carried out only on the instruction of the owner with either
3 estimates obtained or by an owner nominated repairer. The owner may nominate to pay the repairer directly
unless an emergency fee or small item repair has been settled by LeeVee.
Pool maintenance
Pools are checked weekly to ensure that they are clean and the surrounds tidy. Arrangements can be made with
pool specialists to check and rectify water quality at regular intervals. Pools and associated equipment
requiring further repair work will be reported to the owner and instructions taken for any repairs to be carried out.
Repair costs may be paid by the owner directly to the repairer if required.
Telephone
A cell phone is available for the personal use of visitors and in all properties administered.
Initially there will be call time included but once used, the top up costs are for the visitors expense.
Full instructions for the use and how to top up are supplied. Contact numbers for LeeVee personel and emergency
numbers are placed with the cell phone.
LeeVee contact
During normal hours a contact person will be available to visitors for advice and assistance.
Emergency contact
In the event of an emergency a contact person will be available by phone at any time.
Unoccupied property
LeeVee carry out regular twice weekly checks on unoccupied property. Check for pests and any infestation.
Ensure that water and electricity is turned off. Remove any mail and circulars from mail delivery point.
Check property after any adverse weather conditions.
Welcome pack
LeeVee places a few items of groceries in each property for the use of new visitors on their arrival.
As an added welcome a vase of fresh flowers is included.
Advertising the property
Properties are advertised through the LeeVee website, other prominent websites and national media in the UK.

We will take digital photo's of the property and write a complete description for display on the websites
and normal media placings.
Bookings
Enquiries, bookings, payments can all be administered by LeeVee. Property owners need not be involved with
the complexities of client payments. LeeVee will take care of the complete process. When a confirmed booking
is made for a property the owner receives notification of duration, dates and expected income. Shortly after
departure the amount due to the owner is deposited directly into a nominated bank account.
Where property owners control their own bookings and payments the fees payable to LeeVee are calculated on
services required.
LeeVee services
A number of services are available to visitors including car hire referrals with special prices,
advice, driver hire etc. Our UK representative is available for help and advice on any subject relating
to their travel and stay in Cape Town.
