Noordhoek has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Cape and arguably in the world. The white sands stretch for approximately 7 km's. Consequently beach and water sports are popular including surfing and horse riding. Swimming however is limited to good swimmers due to the strong currents.
Noordhoek's proximity to Cape Town and Cape Point make it an ideal place to stay if touring the many Peninsula locations including Wine Routes, Cape Point Nature reserve, and the False bay coastal attractions. The local scenery is spectacular with sea, mountain and valley views from the various viewpoints.
Noordhoek Farm Village is well know for it's artists and crafter's shops. For refreshments and food there are restaurants and bars
There is a good supply of accommodation in and around Noordhoek, self catering, cottages, apartments, guest houses, holiday homes and hotels. Busiest periods are November through to February
