The Casa de Camelia B&B guest house
is situated in the quiet and peaceful typical
Portuguese village of Sao Pedro de Alva in the
Beiras region of Portugal, midway between the
sandy beaches of Figuera da Foz and the
mountains of Serra de Estrela.
A perfect location for touring the scenic, unspoiled
northern regions of Portugal yet close enough for
visits to Porto and Coimbria.
Twin or double accommodation with continental
breakfast. Large dining area with oven and
barbecue. Guests can cook their own pizza or
barbecue and taste the delicious local wines.
There are many rivers and reservoirs in the area
for those that enjoy water sports and fishing,
and there are places to hire canoes/kayaks in
the summer months. For artists there is some truly
spectacular scenery, including mountains, rivers
and sunsets. Packed lunches can be arranged for
guests who wish to spend the day out in the many
local beauty spots.
The nearest airport is Porto which is approximately
1 hour and 45 minutes by road. There are flights
by various airlines including Ryanair, from
Stansted twice daily.
