Praia do Salgado Attractions
Praia do Salgado is located between Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto.
This long sandy beach (approx. 6 Km) is surrounded by the heights of
Serra da Pescaria and Serra dos Mangues, and is one of the favourite
spots for ultra-lights and paragliding fans. Naturism is accepted
in the area to the north of the parking site and over a large sand dune.
During the summer season there are life guards and beach assistance.
Beaches are unspoiled. surfing and wind surfing are popular sports.
Just a few minutes away are attractions including golf,
historical sites, some of Portugal's most beautiful villages
and the local towns of Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto.
