Renting a self catering holiday apartment in South Africa is an excellent alternative to staying in hotels, guest houses and B&B and can have significant savings in the cost of your overall holiday.
Private apartments rentals form a large part of the hospitality industry with the majority being rented directly from their owners. In many cases it is cheaper to rent apartments directly as commissions to third parties are bypassed.
South African apartment rental standards are high and it is unlikely that you will be disappointed with the quality. Of course renting a self catering apartment will give you the freedom from set meal times and the food you eat is of your own choice, prepared in the way you prefer.
Most apartments are available throughout the year with rates being very attractive during the winter months especially in the holiday locations. For example an apartment in Cape Town during July / August will rent out for sometimes less than half the daily rates of the summer high season holiday rates.
