Additional information
The apartment has magnificent ocean views from the bedroom, lounge and balcony.
Guests can braii/barbecue on the balcony, relax with a good wine and enjoy the view across the bay. During July to November whales can be seen breaching from the balcony.
There are 13 kms of peacful walks with breathtaking ocean views on the doorstep.
Hermanus town centre with shops, restaurants, art galleries, arts and crafts markets is literraly just around the corner.
For golfers the Hermanus golf course is approximately 1.5 kms and the Arabella Golf Estate and Spa is just 25 minutes by car.
Fernkloof Nature Reserve with 50 kms of walking and hiking trails is 3 kms from the apartment.
Boat trips and shark cage diving are available from nearby Gansbaai.
Mountain bikers can hire a bike locally and ride the mountain bike trail.
From Hermanus to Cape Town is 90 minutes drive on excellent roads.
Booking, Deposit and payments
A provisional booking may be made by email or telephone. 25% deposit, or proof of payment must reach us within 3 days of initial booking to secure the accommodation. The full balance is due 6 weeks before arrival date. Details of how to pay supplied at time of booking.
Payments can be accepted in UK pounds, Euros or South African Rands.
Full payment required if booking is less than 6 weeks from arrival date.

Cancellations
The deposit is fully refundable for cancellations up to 6 weeks before the arrival date with a 3% deduction for administration.
Cancellation at 4 to 6 weeks 50% refund. Cancellation at 2 to 4 weeks 25% refund.
Less than 2 weeks no refund.
Hermanus Attractions
The Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) recognises Hermanus as one of the worlds
top 12 whale watching venues. Between July and November the giant southern right whales of up to 60 tons arrive from the Antartic to mate and calve. Some of the best vantage points are along the high cliffs above the town. A special attraction is the sonar link to the Old Harbour Museum from a seabed hydrophone where the whale calls can be heard on shore.
There is an annual 11 day whale festival during September featuring music, spring flower displays, local arts and crafts.
Whale watchers from the world over are regular visitors to Hermanus and the Walker Bay area.
The sight of these large magnificent creatures frolicking offshore is a memorable experience never to forget.
Hermanus has a beautiful coastline with unspoilt beaches perfect for walking and horseriding.
There are regularly placed benches along the cliff top walks allow one to rest and enjoy the wonderful views.
A wide variety of outdoor activities are available in Hermanus ranging from the extreme to simply enjoying sunbathing on the beach.
Visits to the farms which produce superb quality and world renowned wines on the Hermanus wine route are informative and worthwhile.
The town itself offers an excellent selection of shops, galleries, markets and food available from snacks, fish and chips to fine 5 star restaurants.
